It seemed like a good idea last night when Diana and I set it up...a wasp-free environment! That was before the storm hit this afternoon and sent the whole thing flying...table, umbrella and screen!! When the weather clears I will inspect the damage. Thank God the tubing around the perimeter of the netting was full of water. Otherwise it could have flown, unpiloted, to Kamloops!
After our hard labour of setting it up, we enjoyed an evening of jazz at the Ross Street Stage. Brian on drums and vocals, Bill Lockie on bass and Neil Fraser on guitar. It was a perfect evening, just the right temperature, no biting bugs and a small collection of appreciative audience members.
