It has been a tough few months with a painful leg and diagnosis of spinal degeneration. Daily activities have been moderated because of discomfort and pain. An X-ray might explain the knee pain and, if not, an MRI will be scheduled. My fitness Centre registration has been put on hold, daily walks halted and volunteer hours reduced.
Water walking is a new activity that I discovered recently. Along with many other seniors at the local pool, I walk back and forth for exercise and allow the water to lift weight from my feet. Unlike swimming lengths in the pool, senior water walkers do not adhere to a circular path. They have their chosen "back & forth line and do not deviate!
Meanwhile the property behind my building is being developed for two new buildings.
The horrific stage of driving steel columns 60 feet into the ground has been completed.
Broken dishes and paintings falling on the floor were tokens of that first stage.
