Not a quiet morning!

I thought that I would have a quiet morning at home today. After waving goodbye to the guys as they left for the gym in town I started a load of laundry, squeezed some paint onto the palette and settled in to some serious painting time. That was when the Architect arrived with three workers. They proceeded to dig up a palm tree outside the studio that was rooted into a very deep hole. Their efforts were accompanied by grunts and Mexican deletives (I guess that's what they were muttering). Meanwhile Ceasr decided to use his new leaf blower and chase every particle of debris from every surface while singing Spanish songs off key. To make matters totally unbearable, the Architect sat himself in the desk chair behind me with his cell phone and conducted loud conversations with a variety of people!

I have retreated to the furthest corner of the property now, facing the sea, watching butterflies flit around me...taking deep breaths and deciding that I was not meant to have a quiet morning!

That's how I feel too!
