This morning I finally had my first walk along the Malecon. It was 8am and the walkers/joggers were competing for space along the route. It was a gorgeous morning with a cool breeze. Church bells announced the hour. I was happy!
Glittery signs of Christmas decorated the route.
Looking down from one of the bridges, I joined two pelicans
as we watched this fisherman gut about fifty fish.
Later I walked over to the mosaic wall at the school yard.
It is almost completely filled with creative designs by community members.
Los Mercados offers fresh breads, meats, veggies and deli items.
