Travelling down the island from Comox we stopped in Chemainus to see the murals.
Busloads of tourists arrive in this small town every day during the summer.
When we arrived around 5:30pm...the streets were empty.
With a population of around 3000, this small town is dependent on the tourist industry
that brings thousands to view amazing murals depicting the area's history.
