Maria cleaned our room yesterday and left behind another of her towel creations on our bed.
I am doing research on the affects of sleeping in a canopied orange bed!
Since it is a combination of red and yellow, orange is stimulating and reaction to it is a combination
of the physical and the emotional. It focuses our minds on issues of physical comfort
- food, warmth, shelter and sensuality. It is a 'fun' colour.
Too much orange suggests frivolity and a lack of serious intellectual values.

In the afternoon I visited a group that were exploring the practice of Capoeira Angola, a martial art type of game that is played to the rhythm of instruments like the berimbau, a single string attached to a stick and gourd.
